What can studwork be used for?
Studwork is a functional timber framework, which is widely used in construction projects.
These frames are made from a combination of timber materials, with vertical studs joined to horizontal timber noggings, and with sole plates positioned along both the top and bottom.
Studwork is a key part of the construction of walls, ceilings, partitions and other building structures. This is because studwork creates a skeleton for the structure that is being built.
Then, once the studwork has been erected (which is a quick and easy process), the construction team can add other materials to this frame. These materials can include drywall and plasterboard, for example.
